We are interested in microbial interactions occurring in insects, and the evolutionary implications of these associations. We also seek for biotechnological applications through searching for novel microorganisms or molecules suitable for health, food or industrial processes and uses. For this we combine classical and molecular microbiology, from cultivating microorganisms methodologies to modern genomic analysis.
